DESCRIOTION:
Di propylene glycol or DPG is a type of chemical compound that's used as the solvent in most fragrances. Di propylene glycol is practically odorless, water-soluble, colorless, hygroscopic and low toxicity. These characteristics make it useful in several different ways in the context of perfumes and personal care products. It can be used as a solvent, a carrier, and because it is essentially odorless even a diluent for perfumes. It is fairly thick as solvents go, so you can use more in Fragrance oils, as Perfume Solvent and in Spray Perfumes. DPG is great to use in perfumes or fragrance body oils.
